How it works
Each cell can be trimmed. A row with no non-empty cell is dropped. A column that is empty in every row is dropped.

Input is delimited text. Output is delimited text in the same dialect.
Common uses
Whitespace
" Ada " becomes Ada when trim is on.
Empty row
A line of only commas is dropped.
How to use this tool
- Paste CSV.
- Leave the default clean options on, or turn one off.
- Copy the cleaned table.
Limitations
- Does not fix broken quotes.
- Does not infer types.
- Does not fill blanks with a sentinel.
Questions
- Does this remove duplicate rows?
- No. Use Deduplicate CSV for uniqueness. This page only trims and drops empty structure.
- Will it change my delimiter?
- No. Detected or selected delimiter is written back. Commas inside quotes stay quoted.
